Fethiye - Olympos - Kekova Itinerary

DAY 1
Fethiye to St Nicholas Island
Our cruise begins the beautiful seaside town of Fethiye. A vibrant town with many bars, cafes and restaurants it is worth staying a night before your cruise starts. Departing in the morning we depart for Butterfly Valley for swimming, lunch and an optional hike up to the waterfall. Butterfly Vallley is known to be the home for over 136 different breeds of butterflies and moths.

We will then visit Oludinez beach, Europe’s most photographed beach and one of the best sites in the world to paraglide. If you fancy gliding off the cliff tops and taking in the spectacular views of the Blue Lagoon and Oludeniz. We have lunch here before we head towards our last stop for the day, St Nicholas Island. We arrive in time to walk up through the island's ruins and witness the amazing sunset. There is also a smorgos board of watersports in this region.

DAY 2
St Nicholas Island to Firnaz Bay
Today the crew will raise the anchor early to bring us to to Kalkan (Aquarium Bay) for breakfast and swimming. This is a fantastic spot to put on the face masks and snorkels and make the most of the crystal clear waters.

We motor onto Kas, a small fishing village with a charming little harbour, to enjoy lunch on the boat. You will then have time to explore the local shops, including many handmade jewellery and clothes stores. We will spend the night in Firnaz Bay

DAY 3
Firnaz Bay to Gokkaya Bay
Today after breakfast we will cruise to the area of Kekova. First on the list, we will discover the Sunken City, an ancient town dating back 2000 years to the Lycian period and destroyed by an earthquake. We will cruise over this protected World Heritage site, however no swimming, diving or snorkelling is allowed in this area.
We will cross over the small parting sea to Simena Castle where you can walk to the top and witness a magical view over the bay.

Our overnight stop is in Gokkaya Bay known to be a breeding ground for the Caretta turtle.

DAY 4
Gokkaya Bay to Demre/Olympos
On your last day you can enjoy a lazy start, take your usual morning swim and enjoy your last delicious Turkish breakfast onboard. After breakfast we will head to Pirates Cave (or another nearby bay) for snorkelling and swimming. We will dock at Cayagzi (Andriake) Harbour before lunch.

Highlights of the voyage

The coast from Marmaris to Fethiye is often referred to as the Golden coast of Turkey. Delightful riverside town of Dalyan and the nearby ruins of ancient Caunos: a theatre, Roman bath, Byzantine church and acropolis. An opportunity to swim from Istuzu Beach, known as Turtle Beach, and to see Caretta Caretta sea turtles. Remains of a Roman and Greek shipyard on Tersane Island. Sightseeing in Fethiye, ancient Telmessos. Shopping in Marmaris and Fethiye Bazaars.
